2010 Scholarship Application
The Kern County Junior Golf Association will be
granting a limited number of scholarships to this years graduating seniors. If
you have participated in KCJGA tournaments in the past and are planning to
attend a college or university in the fall, please review the following
information and complete the application.
To be eligible for scholarship consideration students must
meet the following KCJGA scholarship requirements.
1.
Must have participated
in Kern County Junior Golf Tournaments.
2.
Graduated from
High School in June 2010.
3.
Submit a 250 word
essay “My Golf Plans for the Future”.
4.
Must submit names
of all colleges and universities applied, in order of preference.
5.
Must plan on
being a full-time college student in the fall.
6.
Must have a 3.0
or above GPA (please submit transcripts).
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Complete and
return in its entirety, the KCJGA scholarship application form.
2.
Submit a copy of
his/her High School transcript with application.
3.
Submit a letter
of recommendation from a person other than a family member.
4.
Complete a typed
250-word essay “My Golf Plans for the Future”.
5.
To be considered
for the KCJGA Scholarship, the applicant must complete this form and return it
postmarked by Aug 1 to:
